Data Engineer - WFH

About the Role

Cotiviti is seeking a data-focused Data Engineer to support data management, validation, analysis, and reporting. This role will focus on creating and maintaining SQL scripts, optimizing queries, analyzing data, and helping ensure data integrity and compliance. You’ll work closely with Engineering and Database Administration (DBA) teams to troubleshoot issues and support dashboard development. The position is fully remote and may require after-hours support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain SQL scripts for data management and data validation Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries Perform data analysis to support business and operational needs Work with Engineering and DBA teams to investigate and resolve data-related issues Support the development and maintenance of dashboards Help ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance Provide after-hours support as needed Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail

Required Qualifications

Strong SQL skills Experience with data management and data validation Experience performing data analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Engineering and DBA teams Experience supporting dashboards and data reporting Experience with data integrity and compliance processes Experience providing after-hours technical or data support Work Arrangement & Compensation Remote Base salary: $78,000–$120,000 per year After-hours support as needed
