Data Warehouse / Data Engineering Project Manager
Job Description: Data Warehouse / Data Engineering Project Manager Remote Contract PST Time Zone Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse / Data Engineering Project Manager to lead data warehouse implementation, migration, modernization, and data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise and a solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end data warehouse and data engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery. Coordinate with data engineers, data architects, ETL developers, BI teams, and business stakeholders. Oversee data migration, ETL/ELT development, data integration, testing, and deployment. Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, resources, and stakeholder communications. Track milestones and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, project status meetings, and executive reporting. Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance requirements are met. Required Qualifications 10+ years of IT project management experience. Proven experience managing data warehouse or data engineering projects. Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data integration, and data modeling. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as Jira or MS Project. Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
