WRHP - Denials Management Analyst Job Category: Professionals Requisition Number: DENIA006700 Posting Details Full-Time Locations Hospital WR 1900 23rd Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, USA Job Details Description Reviews, analyzes and documents all outpatient denials received by payors. Follows up with insurance companies, physicians, various hospital departments (i.e. medical records, financial counseling, healthcare review, managed care, etc.) to assure the recovery of denied revenue. Conducts statistical analysis for all denials. Assists with the creation of “payor report card” data to be used for contract negotiations. Requirements 1. Education and Training
- Associate’s degree in business, accounting or closely related field or equivalent PAS/IT&S work experience.
- Additional experience may be substituted on a year to year basic for the education requirement.
2. Experience
- Five (5) or more years experience in healthcare patient accounting or health insurance industry.
3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures, computers and other equipment used in the PFS area.
- Diverse knowledge and experience in utilizing standardized PC software.
