Design Engineer IV
Project Name: OrbitIQ Initiative (Supporting Comcast) Engagement Duration: Initial 3-month contract (potential extension, specifically for the Tech Lead role) Work Location: Remote (supporting the West Chester / Boot Road location) Technical Project Details & Objective Primary Objective: Scale up the OrbitIQ agentic platform, which currently automates OS patching (Linux & Windows across 200,000+ servers), into full production. Secondary Objective: Stand up the initial foundation of an Agentic SRE platform to assist in managing cloud environments (VMware, Kubernetes, OpenStack). Tech Stack / Core Skills: Python (essential), LLMs, Agentic AI, UI Frameworks (flexible, e.g., React/Node/Angular). UI / Design Engineer (1 position) Role Focus: Hands-on UI development and design. Key Tasks: Transition the current interface from Slack into a dedicated, production-grade UI. Frontend framework requirements (e.g., React, Node, Angular) remain flexible and subject to final coordination with team management. Technical Requirements & Ideal Candidate Profile Core Programming Stack: Strong Python proficiency is required across development roles due to the condensed project timeline. Developer Focus: Candidates must be active hands-on software developers rather than purely theoretical data scientists or research-focused ML specialists. Agentic AI Expertise: Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and operating agentic frameworks and LLMs in production environments. Enterprise Scale: Prior experience working within large-scale enterprise environments dealing with high host counts or millions of telemetry data points.
