Developer Stars Location: Augusta, ME Onsite Flexibility: Remote (100% — Manager is willing to consider candidates in Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific Time Zones) Contract Details Position Type: Contract Pay Rate: $73.00–$73.01 / Hour (USD) Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job Summary - The candidate will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation. - The candidate will code enhancements and develop required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards of the GenTax system. - The tool set will include C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio. - The candidate will execute the required steps for implementing SQR change requests in the FAST GenTax system and tracking changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) following the project standards. - They will coordinate their work with other software developers. - They will participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs. - The execution of all their responsibilities will be with little direct supervision of a team leader. - These services are essential to improve efficiency and accuracy of tax processing.
