About The Role We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills and experience, including: Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proficiency in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, load balancing, and security groups. Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards. Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven computing is advantageous. Experience working within Agile methodologies and implementing DevOps best practices.
Responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible to automate cloud resource provisioning. Designing, implementing, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid, reliable software deployment. Troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues in production environments to ensure minimal downtime. Collaborating closely with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Implementing security best practices, including managing IAM policies, network security configurations, and compliance controls. Monitoring system health and performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and maintaining logs with ELK Stack. Automating routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
