Director, Global Business Transformation - REMOTE
The Director, Global Business Transformation will be responsible for defining and executing the company's business process automation strategy while also delivering tangible process improvements.This role requires a leader who can partner with executives to set the vision and personally dive into process mapping, solution design, and implementation where needed.This position requires both strategic foresight and tactical problem-solving skills to ensure IES scales efficiently and accurately.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSStrategic LeadershipAct as a trusted advisor to executives, guiding the adoption of AI-driven solutions to ensure initiatives directly accelerate revenue growth, improve decision-making, and drive operational scalability, while prioritizing projects with the highest business impact.Define and own the company-wide AI and business process automation roadmap, aligning it with growth, client experience and internal user objectives.Champion AI and intelligent automation initiatives across the enterprise, developing business cases that highlight ROI from generative AI, RPA, and advanced analytics, and communicating their strategic value to leadership for adoption and scaling.Establish governance frameworks and delivery standards to ensure automation is deployed consistently and compliantly across global operations.Stay current on emerging AI, RPA and workflow automation trends to guide the company toward scalable solutions.Hands-On ExecutionDevelop systematic evaluation framework to assess AI and RPA automation potential across all departments to ensure AI investments target areas with highest efficiency gains and ROI potential.Partner with internal teams to reimagine and design future-state business processes by embedding AI and automation at the core, creating intelligent workflows that reduce manual effort, enhance scalability, and deliver a superior client and employee experience.Work closely with IT / developers and external vendors to provide process design requirements, testing and process documentation.Partner with leadership and departments on change management and adoption of new automation.Build dashboards and reporting tools to track automation effectiveness and efficiency gains.Develop SOPs, process documentation, and training materials to support adoption and long-term sustainability.Work closely with HR and legal to ensure solutions comply with global employment laws, data protection regulations, AI regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Collaborate with HR, legal and executive leadership to ensure AI risks are identified and are mitigated to meet company risk tolerance levels.Build strategic partnerships with AI / automation vendors and manage vendor relationships.Operational ImpactDrive measurable results in efficiency, accuracy, compliance and scalability.Oversee the deployment of a centralized ticketing system and self-service solutions to improve customer experience and reduce manual workload.Harmonize automation across different regulatory environments and cultural contexts.MiscellaneousPerforms other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.Assist on department projects or product rollouts as necessary.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS10years of progressive experience in operations, business process improvement or transformation roles, with leadership experience at director or senior director level.Proven success leading automation initiatives (AI, RPA, workflow automation) and driving measurable business impact.Strong hand-on expertise in process analysis, mapping and redesign.Six Sigma certification highly desirable.Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with ability to work across executive, operational, and technical teams.Experience implementing ticketing systems, self-service portals, and reporting automation strongly preferred.Knowledge of EOR, AOR, MSP, or global HR / payroll environments a strong plus..
