Director of Business Development

Role Description The Director of Business Development at PROYECTOS INTEGRALES APIPROO is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving growth and expanding strategic opportunities. This role oversees new business pipelines, identifies and qualifies leads, and builds long-term relationships with key clients and partners. Day-to-day activities include developing and executing business plans, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing, and collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with market needs. The Director monitors market trends, prepares proposals and presentations, maintains accurate forecasting and reporting, and ensures high standards of client satisfaction and account management. This position also focuses on optimizing processes, setting performance targets, and contributing to the overall commercial strategy of the organization.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and convert prospects into long-term clients. Candidates should possess solid Business Planning capabilities to design growth strategies, set targets, and analyze performance metrics. Candidates should possess advanced Contract Negotiation skills to manage terms, pricing, and agreements that support sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships. Candidates should possess effective Account Management skills to maintain relationships, oversee renewals, and ensure client satisfaction and retention. Relevant experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership roles, ideally in project-based or services-oriented industries. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels. Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
