Director of Data Practice

To manage the daily operations of the Data Office, the full-time salaried Director of Data Practice will oversee capability leads, prioritize data projects, and ensure delivery standards while collaborating with the Chief Data Officer on strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities Manage scoping, staffing, and sequencing of data work across the enterprise and client-facing portfolio Run the Data Office intake system, triaging requests and publishing the data portfolio roadmap Supervise capability leads, ensuring alignment of methodology and delivery standards Required qualifications Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in data, research, or analytics delivery Proven track record of leading complex, multi-workstream data projects to completion Expertise in data governance, including definitions, quality, and standards implementation Experience managing senior technical staff and coordinating with executives outside of direct reporting lines Hands-on experience with SQL, data pipelines, cloud warehouses, and statistical environments (e.g., R, Python) Experience: 5 years required
