Role Description The Director of Financial Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing Kovra Pay Inc.’s financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role includes leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, developing financial models to support strategic decisions, and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional partners to evaluate business performance, monitor cash flow and capital needs, and establish financial controls aligned with a fast-moving fintech environment. Day-to-day activities involve interpreting financial data, advising leadership on risk and opportunity, managing relationships with external accounting or audit partners, and helping build scalable financial operations as the company grows. This position is expected to contribute to both high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy. Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely internal and external reporting. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, build financial models, and support data-informed decision making. Relevant experience in financial leadership roles within fintech, payments, or technology-driven organizations is beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, high-growth, and collaborative environment, with clear communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience establishing financial controls, managing audits, and supporting fundraising or investor reporting is a plus.
