Role Description The Director of Margin Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing margin-related processes, policies, and performance across Rainbow Wallet’s products. This role leads the design and optimization of operational workflows that manage margin exposure, profitability, and risk, while ensuring a reliable and compliant user experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring margin metrics and financial performance, analyzing operational data, and implementing process improvements that support sustainable growth. The Director will collaborate with product, finance, risk, and customer support teams to align margin operations with strategic objectives, resolve complex issues, and establish best practices. This position also includes building and mentoring an operations team, setting operational targets, and driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management experience, including designing, optimizing, and scaling operational processes. Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial and operational data, margin metrics, and performance trends. Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning related to margin, revenue, and cost control. Customer Service orientation with a focus on delivering clear, fair, and consistent margin-related experiences. Experience in fintech, financial services, or a related industry, ideally with exposure to margin or risk operations. Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
