Director of Network Services

Director of Network Services Remote Must be based in Texas Role Overview This business unit is designed to give a broad base of end customers access to advanced networking expertise, stronger security, and modernization capabilities. This role is less a hands-on operations manager and more a Chief Engineer / CTO-level delivery lead, responsible for ensuring all technical services evolve strategically and support customer modernization efforts. Core Responsibilities Serve as the senior technical authority for all managed network services delivered under the engagement. Lead network architecture, engineering standards, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives. Ensure technical solutions adhere to the client’s security, compliance, and governance requirements, including integration with the client’s broader shared services environment. Provide oversight for: LAN/WAN services Wireless networking Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls VPN services DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management) Network Operations Center (NOC) functions Network modernization and transformation projects Participate in executive governance reviews, service improvement planning, risk remediation, and escalation management. Act as the senior technical interface between the service provider, the client, the service integrator, and end-customer organizations. Qualifications 10+ years of enterprise network leadership experience. Experience operating in large, multi-supplier service environments. Expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, SD-WAN, cloud networking, Zero Trust, and network security architectures. Experience supporting large public-sector or similarly complex, highly regulated organizations. Executive communication skills for engagement with CIOs, CISOs, and senior client leadership.
