Coordinate with field clinicians, treating providers, the Medical Director, authorized client contacts, and other appropriate stakeholders to promote continuity of care and timely return-to-work coordination. Maintain independent, evidence-based clinical judgment; identify documentation inconsistencies, unsafe gaps, or pressure to alter clinical findings and escalate concerns through established clinical and organizational channels. Protect medical confidentiality and distinguish clinical recommendations from employer recordkeeping, claim compensability, and other decisions outside the department’s authority. Ensure clinical decisions and delegated activities remain within applicable licensure, scope-of-practice requirements, protocols, and supervision arrangements. People Leadership & Accountability Directly supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate three Case Officers; establish clear role boundaries, individual objectives, competency expectations, and performance improvement plans as appropriate. Conduct regular case conferences, documentation audits, quality reviews, and targeted coaching; ensure non-licensed personnel recognize escalation triggers without independently making clinical decisions. Implement standardized intake, clinical review, escalation, handoff, follow-up, documentation, closure, and quality assurance processes across projects and time zones. Define and report meaningful department metrics and corrective actions to the Senior Director of Operations; use trends and audits to drive sustained improvement. Evaluate staffing capacity, training needs, systems, and technology; support recruitment, onboarding, and responsible expansion as case volume grows. Partner with Operations, Human Resources, Client Success, and Business Development on client transitions and service expansion while preserving clinical independence and appropriate information-sharing. Travel up to 25% nationwide for operational assessments, client visits, field training, and leadership needs.
