Role Description The Director of Portfolio Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s real estate portfolio. This position leads portfolio strategy, including asset performance review, risk assessment, and long-term planning across multiple properties. Daily responsibilities include analyzing portfolio data, prioritizing projects and investments, coordinating with program and project teams, and ensuring alignment with business and financial objectives. The director will collaborate with senior leadership to develop portfolio roadmaps, define success metrics, and implement governance processes that support growth and operational efficiency. The role also involves preparing reports and presentations for executive stakeholders, monitoring market trends, and proposing adjustments to portfolio strategy as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate portfolio performance, assess risk, and support data-driven decision-making. Candidates should possess Program Management experience to coordinate multiple initiatives, manage dependencies, and align projects with strategic objectives. Candidates should possess Finance expertise to understand investment models, budgeting, cash flow, and return on investment for real estate assets. Candidates should possess Project Portfolio Management and Portfolio Management capabilities to prioritize initiatives, manage resource allocation, and optimize the overall property portfolio. Relevant experience in real estate, asset management, or investment management, ideally in a leadership or director-level role. Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CFA, or similar) is an advantage. Solid proficiency with portfolio and project management tools, financial analysis software, and standard office productivity applications.
