Role Description The Director of Product Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the operational performance and scalability of IZO Capital’s lending products. This position leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes that support loan origination, underwriting, lifecycle management, and reporting. The role involves analyzing product performance data, identifying operational bottlenecks, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize workflows and systems. The Director will manage and develop an operations team, establish metrics and dashboards, and ensure consistent alignment between product strategy, technology, and day-to-day execution. This role also contributes to strategic planning, risk management, and process standardization to support growth in construction financing for rental housing.
Qualifications
Strong Product Operations experience, including process design, workflow optimization, and product lifecycle management. Robust Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, performance measurement, and continuous improvement. Proven Operations Management background, overseeing complex, cross-functional processes and systems. Demonstrated Team Management and Team Leadership capabilities, including coaching, delegation, and performance development. Experience in financial services, lending, or real estate development operations is highly beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with clear communication, accountability, and collaboration across time zones. Comfort with technology and operational tools, such as CRM systems, loan servicing platforms, and workflow automation software. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
