Ideal CandidateYou are an experienced financial strategy professional who understands how business decisions influence capital requirements, profitability, financial risk, and long-term organizational performance. You have worked in environments where strategic recommendations must be supported by financial analysis, realistic assumptions, and a clear understanding of potential returns. Throughout your career, you have developed the ability to evaluate business opportunities from both a financial and commercial perspective. You understand that an attractive growth opportunity is not necessarily a sound investment, and you know how to distinguish between the two. You are comfortable building financial models, reviewing operating performance, assessing investment proposals, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. You understand how market conditions, financing costs, capital availability, and regulatory considerations can affect strategic decisions within financial services organizations. You bring experience working with financial professionals, business development teams, and executive leadership to evaluate complex initiatives and establish realistic business priorities. You are capable of challenging financial assumptions, identifying potential risks, and recommending alternative approaches when a proposed initiative does not meet the organization's financial objectives. You also understand the importance of execution. A well-developed strategy must be supported by appropriate resources, clear financial expectations, and measurable performance indicators. Your leadership style is analytical, collaborative, and results-oriented. You can communicate complex financial matters clearly while maintaining a practical understanding of commercial and operational requirements. Most importantly, you bring the financial knowledge, strategic judgment, and professional maturity needed to help senior leadership make informed decisions about business growth, investment priorities, and long-term financial performance. This position is intended for a Director of Strategy who wants to contribute to corporate financial planning, strategic investment evaluation, and the continued development of RSI Global Logistics LLP's Financial Services Division.
