Role Description The Director, Real Assets Investment is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the strategy, selection, and oversight of real asset investments within Rainbow Wallet’s broader investment framework. This role involves developing and implementing real asset investment strategies, including infrastructure, real estate, and other tangible asset classes, aligned with the organization’s risk and return objectives. The director will conduct in-depth market and asset-level analysis, oversee due diligence, monitor portfolio performance, and provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership. Day-to-day activities include evaluating new investment opportunities, optimizing existing holdings, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, risk, and finance), and ensuring that investment processes meet regulatory, compliance, and internal governance standards. The role also includes mentoring team members, refining analytical tools and models, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Rainbow Wallet’s investment capabilities.
Qualifications
Investment Management and Investments skills, with experience overseeing real asset portfolios and transaction execution. Analytical Skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and performance measurement. Investment Strategies and Finance skills, with the ability to design and implement real asset strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Extensive experience in real assets (e.g., real estate, infrastructure, natural resources) and familiarity with digital and alternative investment platforms. Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex investment concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams or cross-functional projects in an investment or finance environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
