Ellucian Colleague Registration & Records Consultant

POSITION SUMMARY The Colleague Registration and Records Consultant works in partnership with colleges & universities on their ERP needs, specific to Ellucian Colleague Student/Reg and Records, within scope and budget agreed with client. The Consultant roles report up through professional services, specifically working under a Director and ultimately an AVP of Professional Services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ellucian Colleague Registration and Records modules, including student registration, academic history, transcript processing, curriculum management, degree audit support, and enrollment-related functionalities. Strong understanding of higher education Registrar’s and Advising Offices business processes, including registration processing, records management, graduation clearance, transfer credit evaluation, academic standing, and student enrollment services. Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting higher education student registrations and enrollments, including FERPA compliance, academic policies, residency requirements, and federal/state reporting standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex system issues. Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex system and process challenges independently. Experience in developing and delivering training for end-users. Experience developing and optimizing process workflows within Ellucian Colleague to support Registration, Records, Advising, curriculum management, student lifecycle processing, and operational efficiency initiatives. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and present information to various stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor’s degree in related field required. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Registration and Records IT experience in the higher education setting. Higher education consulting experience is preferred. Willingness to travel when required for client or internal business.
