Estimating & Proposal Engineer

Build the Estimates Behind Smarter Water Solutions! Veyra is looking for an experienced Estimating & Proposal Engineer to help develop accurate estimates and winning proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects, from equipment packages to fully installed turnkey systems. What you’ll do: Develop estimates for equipment, installation, construction, labor, and subcontractors Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, P&IDs, and specifications Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids Develop customer-ready proposals with clear scopes, assumptions, and exclusions Partner with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Legal Evaluate commercial risk and public-project requirements Support project handoffs, change orders, and estimated-vs.-actual cost reviews What we’re looking for: 5+ years of estimating, proposal engineering, or technical sales support experience 3+ years estimating equipment plus installation/construction Strong drawing, P&ID, specification, and quantity-takeoff skills Water/wastewater treatment experience Advanced Excel and strong technical writing skills 📍 Remote ✈️ 15%–25% travel If you enjoy solving complex estimating challenges and want to help build smarter, more sustainable water infrastructure, we’d like to hear from you.
