Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an Intermediate ETL QA Engineer to validate data quality, accuracy, and completeness across data pipelines, platforms, and reporting solutions for our Financial client.

Pay range and compensation package
- Rate: $45-65 USD/hr, dependent on experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Required Skills
- 3+ years in data testing, ETL testing, data migration testing, or data warehouse validation
- Strong SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and data quality testing
- Source-to-target validation, count checks, and transformation testing
- Creating and executing test cases for ETL, migration, data warehouse, reporting, and cloud data platforms
- Preparing test data for SIT, regression, UAT, and migration testing
- Working knowledge of cloud data platforms, data warehouses, or big data environments
- Defect tracking through closure using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar
- Strong communication skills for reporting status, risks, and defects to stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, data mappings, and design documents to define testing scope
- Develop and execute test cases across ETL, migration, warehouse, reporting, and cloud platforms
- Use SQL to validate data accuracy, completeness, and transformations
- Track defects to resolution with development and data engineering teams
- Support UAT and release readiness
- Communicate testing status and results to stakeholders
