Role Description The Executive Vice-President of Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and performance of WeHelp. This role leads the finance organization, guiding budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning in alignment with company goals. The Executive Vice-President of Finance will manage financial reporting and analysis, ensure the integrity of financial statements, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership and the board. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing cash flow management, capital allocation, and risk management, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, and enhancing financial processes and systems. This role collaborates cross-functionally with operations, technology, and business development teams to support data-driven decision-making and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial leadership. Candidates should possess expertise in financial statements and financial reporting, with a deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements. Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, model scenarios, and present clear recommendations. Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably in technology, SaaS, or consulting environments. Proficiency in modern financial tools, ERP systems, and data analytics platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing, distributed finance teams in a remote environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership and boards. Strong background in risk management, cash flow optimization, and capital structure strategy. Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly beneficial.
