Executive Vice President of Operations
Role Description The Executive Vice President of Operations at Kerniva is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational performance across the organization. This role leads operational strategy and execution, aligning day-to-day activities with long-term business goals and financial targets. The Executive Vice President of Operations will manage cross-functional teams, optimize processes, oversee budgets, and ensure efficient resource allocation. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with senior leadership on strategic projects, and ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence. The role also involves managing risk, supporting change management efforts, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including process optimization and performance measurement. Strong experience in P&L Management, budgeting, and financial oversight to support sustainable growth. Proficiency in Strategic Planning, including setting operational goals and aligning initiatives with business objectives. Hands-on Project Management skills to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution. Background in Customer Service leadership, ensuring service quality, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. Proven track record in senior or executive operations roles, preferably in dynamic or growth-oriented organizations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and metrics to drive decisions. Ability to lead remote teams effectively, build trust, and maintain engagement in a distributed work environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial.
