brighthush is a forward‑thinking insurance firm that blends deep industry expertise with a passion for customer empowerment. We’re not just another agency – we’re a community of problem‑solvers who thrive on delivering tailored risk solutions that protect people’s homes, cars, businesses, and futures. With a culture that values transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning, brighthush invites you to join a team where your voice matters, your growth is accelerated, and every client interaction has a lasting impact.

Why This Role Is a Game‑Changer

As a Remote P&C Licensed Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the frontline advocate for our personal lines portfolio. Your expertise will guide clients through policy changes, renewals, and coverage decisions while ensuring they feel confident and informed. The role offers a unique blend of autonomy and teamwork: you’ll manage a book of clients independently, yet you’ll collaborate closely with producers, underwriters, and carrier partners to deliver seamless service. Because you’ll be working remotely, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a home‑office environment without sacrificing the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a high‑performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of personal lines clients, handling day‑to‑day inquiries via phone, email, and text. Resolve policy changes, ID card requests, billing questions, and coverage clarifications with speed and accuracy.
  • Policy Administration: Process endorsements for auto, homeowners, umbrella, and valuables policies. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with carrier guidelines.
  • Renewal Strategy: Review upcoming renewals, identify coverage gaps, missing discounts, and opportunities to enhance protection. Prepare and present renewal options in plain language, helping clients make informed decisions.
  • Risk Education: Explain premium changes, deductible structures, and coverage options to clients, translating complex insurance jargon into clear, actionable insights.
  • Carrier Collaboration: Work directly with carrier underwriters and representatives to resolve eligibility questions, underwriting requirements, and account issues. Maintain strong relationships with carriers to streamline processes.
  • Commercial Support: Provide occasional assistance with new‑business quoting and select small commercial accounts (BOP, general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto) as you grow comfortable in the role.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain meticulous notes, activity logs, and policy records in Applied Epic. Ensure all client interactions are documented in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Opportunity Identification: Spot potential for additional coverage and refer appropriate sales opportunities to brighthush’s producers, contributing to the agency’s growth.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on industry trends, carrier updates, and new technology. Proactively suggest process enhancements to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Experience in remarketing accounts and managing policy renewals across multiple carriers.
  • Background in customer service within a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
