  • Log into hospital and clinic portals to retrieve patient records, rename files for consistency, attach relevant documents, and upload them to the correct patient profiles.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to schedule appointments, confirm patient availability, and send timely reminders.
  • Perform regular quality checks, reconcile data discrepancies, and maintain a high level of data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate coding and documentation for insurance claims.
  • Adapt to rotational shift schedules within the Mountain Time zone, maintaining consistent communication with on‑site staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with EHR updates, data privacy regulations, and best practices in medical data management.
  • Generate timely reports on data entry metrics, highlighting trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in medical data entry, preferably within a U.S. healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with brighthush EHR platforms and a strong understanding of medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit and verify data accuracy, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Comfortable working within the Mountain Time zone, including flexibility to accommodate rotational shifts.
  • Basic knowledge of medical billing codes (ICD‑10, CPT) is a plus.

  • Data Accuracy & Integrity: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to error‑free data entry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Adept at navigating complex EHR systems and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and professional communication with clinicians and support staff.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive identification of data discrepancies and swift resolution.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving remote environment.
  • Time Management: Efficient prioritization of tasks to meet tight deadlines.
