Family Peer Support Specialist

At CVS Health, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Family Peer Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide mental health and substance abuse support services to families of adults with mental illness. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to providing quality care.We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the mental health and substance abuse needs of families, as well as experience working with adults with mental illness and their families. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of two years’ experience providing mental health and substance abuse support services. They must also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with families, clients, and other professionals. This individual must also display a strong commitment to upholding professional ethics and standards. Responsibilities: Provide mental health and substance abuse support services to families of adults with mental illness. Maintain a deep understanding of the mental health and substance abuse needs of families. Work collaboratively with families, clients, and other professionals. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Uphold professional ethics and standards. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Complete necessary documentation and paperwork. Participate in community outreach efforts. Provide referrals and resources to families. Participate in professional development activities.
