About Us: Founded in May 2024, Love Yourself First Counseling is a dynamic private practice dedicated to providing compassionate and effective mental health services to a diverse clientele. We specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, which has been proven effective for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and more. Our innovative approach combines telehealth and in-person sessions, allowing us to tailor our care to the unique needs of each individual. What We’re Looking For: We seek a dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our supportive team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative setting, providing a range of mental health services independently. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality individual and group psychotherapy and mental health counseling in engaging 45-minute to 1-hour sessions. Work with a diverse client base, including children over 12, adolescents, young adults, and the elderly, addressing various mental health concerns. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring timely documentation updates. Regularly update treatment plans every six months to reflect clients’ progress and needs. Requirements: Access to reliable Wi-Fi to use our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, with the ability to utilize an iPad or laptop for practice management. Valid professional liability license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC) in good standing within the state of practice. Please note, we are unable to consider LCATS for this position at this time. Availability to work one weekend day and two late afternoon days during the week. Professional liability insurance is mandatory. Experience in psychotherapy and mental health counseling, particularly with children over 12, adolescents, young adults, and the elderly. Preferred Qualifications: Licensed in New York and New Jersey. Compensation: This position operates on a fee-for-service model, allowing you to earn based on the services provided to clients.
