Job DescriptionJob Description Immediate Need | Direct Hire Service Technician Pittsburgh, PA (Home Office) | Extensive Travel Required (Up to 75%) Up to $38/hour + $65/Day Food Allowance + Company-Paid Lodging and Mileage Why Work For Our Client? Global reach — clients in 35+ countries and growing Custom engineering — no two projects, no two days, the same Small team, big visibility — your work matters here Expanding into EV battery and renewable energy markets What You'll Do: Install, commission, and start up ceramic manufacturing equipment at customer facilities Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on ceramic production machinery Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns, documenting all service activities and equipment performance Must-Have Qualifications: 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or field service experience, preferably in ceramic, manufacturing, or process industries Working knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, motors, sensors, and industrial controls Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical/Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%); ability to obtain a passport for international travel starting at the end of 2027 Contact Kristie Harnish at [email protected] #LI-KH1 #ZR
