Finance & Accounting Executive

Role Description The Finance & Accounting Executive role is a part-time remote position responsible for managing core financial and accounting activities that support business planning and development. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, including GST where applicable. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and providing analytical insights to guide management decisions. The Finance & Accounting Executive will collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline financial processes, support audits or reviews, and contribute to financial strategies that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and support decision-making. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial information. Candidates should possess knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other relevant tax regulations to ensure compliance where applicable. Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets, with attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy. Candidates should possess effective communication skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and strong organizational and time-management abilities. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are an added advantage.
