Finance Manager Elliker Financial Location: United States Work Arrangement: Fully Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Finance Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Senior Management Position OverviewElliker Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and day-to-day financial management. This role is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal financial processes, and providing meaningful financial insights to support business decisions and long-term growth. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and relevant departments to monitor financial performance, manage resources, improve reporting procedures, and ensure that financial activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with applicable policies and requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business objectives. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to management. Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and budget variances. Financial Reporting and AccountingPrepare and review periodic financial statements, management reports, and financial summaries. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the timely completion of financial reporting. Coordinate with accounting personnel and external accountants on reconciliations and reporting requirements. Budget and Cost ManagementMonitor operating expenses and support effective budget allocation. Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial resource utilization. Assist management with financial projections and business planning. Internal Controls and ComplianceMaintain appropriate financial controls, documentation, and approval procedures. Support compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and financial policies. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, and other professional service providers as needed. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with operational and management teams to provide financial guidance and support business decisions. Improve financial reporting processes and develop practical tools for monitoring performance. Communicate financial findings and recommendations clearly to senior management. Initial PrioritiesReview existing financial reporting procedures, budgets, and accounting workflows. Establish consistent financial monitoring and reporting practices. Identify opportunities to improve expense controls and financial planning. Provide management with actionable insights into financial performance and resource allocation. Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience in financial management, financial analysis, accounting, or budgeting. Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, expense management, and internal controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting or accounting software. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment. High standards of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. A professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is an advantage but is not required.
