Financial Writer (Contract, Remote)

Mischa Communications is hiring an experienced financial writer to support ongoing client engagements. We need someone with a strong understanding of financial services who can translate complex industry topics into clear, substantive marketing content for business decision-makers. Mischa is a boutique marketing agency serving financial services, cybersecurity and other high regulated industries. You’ll work with our team to develop content that reflects the clients' expertise and supports their marketing and sales priorities. Responsibilities: Write and edit website copy, landing pages, articles and other financial marketing content. Develop email campaigns, prospect nurture copy and sales materials. Translate technical information and subject-matter input into accessible, persuasive writing. Research and fact-check financial topics, terminology and claims. Adapt content across channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Incorporate feedback and manage agreed deadlines. Qualifications: At least five years of professional writing experience, with substantial experience writing for financial services companies. A portfolio of financial content demonstrating subject-matter knowledge, strong research and clear explanations. Familiarity with investment management, financial technology and the businesses that serve financial institutions. The ability to connect a specialized offering to the needs of financial industry buyers. Strong editing and proofreading skills, with careful attention to accuracy and sourcing. Familiarity with SEO best practices. Comfort working independently and collaborating with a distributed agency team. Financial writing experience is required. Experience writing for investment management or financial technology audiences is especially valuable. Engagement Details: This is a remote, independent contractor position supporting an ongoing monthly retainer. Workload will vary with the client’s priorities, with assignments and deadlines coordinated in advance. Contractors track their time and submit monthly invoices.
