FIS Architect

Title: FIS Architect Location: Remote Type: Contract Product Focus: FIS Digital One Flex (note: "FlexOne" likely refers to FIS Digital One Flex) Duration: Long Term Key Responsibilities: Architect integration layers between FIS Digital One Flex and client core banking systems using secure APIs and modular integration patterns. Define data flows for real-time payment processing, transaction management, and account servicing within the Flex ecosystem. Guide to authentication and security architecture, including out-of-band authentication, behavioral biometrics, and risk scoring integration. Support phased rollout planning—the Flex platform is designed for modular, phased deployments to minimize operational disruption. Collaborate with client architects and CTS delivery teams on environment strategy, CI/CD, and deployment governance. Must-Haves: FIS Platform Experience: Hands-on architecture or implementation experience with FIS Digital One (Flex) or comparable FIS digital banking products. Integration Architecture: Proven ability to design API-based integrations between digital banking platforms and core systems (RESTful services, secure APIs). Financial Services Domain: Experience in retail/digital banking environments; understanding of payments, transaction flows, and regulatory constraints. Security Architecture: Familiarity with banking-grade authentication and fraud prevention patterns (OAuth, biometrics, risk scoring).
