Fractional / Part Time CFOs - ProCFO Partners - Long Island, NY

About the position ProCFO Partners is a fractional CFO firm seeking experienced CFOs for a portfolio-based independent contractor role. You will serve as the embedded CFO for a group of ProCFO Partners clients, executing a proven financial framework. The firm provides systems, tools, pipeline support, and a peer network, having already served over 400 clients nationwide with more than 45 CFOs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the financial leader for a portfolio of ProCFO Partners SMB clients (\$10M–\$100M revenue)
• Execute ProCFO's service delivery standards, reporting cadences, and engagement frameworks
• Partner with business owners to strengthen financial decision-making, cash flow, and growth strategy and build the infrastructure needed
• Report monthly on client outcomes, framing the value added, delivered, and communicated at each engagement
• Collaborate actively with fellow ProCFO CFOs through peer forums and ongoing training
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with both clients and the internal ProCFO team

Requirements

• Senior financial leadership experience, including prior CFO or equivalent roles
• A track record of building trusted relationships with business owners and leadership teams
• Strong ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences
• Comfort managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
• A large professional network in your regional market
• Coachable, process-oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial drive
• Curiosity about emerging tools and technologies, including AI
• Must be based in Long Island, NY
