About the Role
Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Frontend) to support United States Air Force (USAF) missions. The role focuses on front-end design, UI mockups, and interface optimization, with an emphasis on user-centric UI/UX practices and Agile development. The successful candidate will contribute to creating effective user interfaces, improving application performance, and supporting cloud-based deployments. The position requires experience with modern front-end technologies, development tools, and collaborative engineering workflows, along with the required security clearance eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop front-end interfaces that support USAF mission requirements. Create UI mockups and contribute to user-centric interface design and optimization. Apply UI/UX principles to improve usability and the overall user experience. Participate in Agile development processes and collaborate with relevant stakeholders. Use Jira, Jenkins, and GitLab to support development workflows and project coordination. Support cloud-based application deployments and related development activities. Apply modern front-end tools and techniques to build and maintain user interfaces. Optimize front-end performance and address issues affecting application efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience with front-end development and modern front-end tools. Experience creating UI mockups and optimizing user interfaces. Strong understanding of user-centric UI/UX practices and Agile development. Extensive experience with Jira, Jenkins, and GitLab. Experience with cloud-based deployments and front-end performance optimization. Active TS/SCI security clearance and eligibility for a CI Polygraph. Location and Work Arrangement Remote work available.
