About the Role
Akliz is seeking an experienced Frontend Web Developer to join its frontend team and work on the company's dashboard and marketing websites. You will contribute to a design-driven development process, collaborate with teammates during sprints, and take ownership of features from initial planning through code review and release. The ideal candidate has strong experience with modern frontend technologies, writes clean and maintainable code, and communicates effectively with the team. This role is suited to a developer who enjoys solving problems, translating designs into functional web experiences, and building products that gamers genuinely want to use.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Akliz's dashboard and marketing websites. Take ownership of frontend features from planning and implementation through code review and delivery. Collaborate with the frontend team to establish priorities and complete sprint work. Translate designs and requirements into functional, responsive web interfaces. Integrate REST APIs and manage data transformation, component state, loading states, and error handling. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code using the team's established development practices. Create and maintain unit and integration tests. Participate in code reviews and team-based pull request workflows. Work closely with teammates to communicate progress, clarify requirements, and resolve technical challenges. Contribute to shipping high-quality features that improve the user experience for gamers.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of frontend web development experience. Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS. Experience consuming REST APIs, adapting and shaping data, handling loading and error states, and connecting data to components and application state. Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests. Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code. Experience with team-based code reviews and pull request workflows. Ability to interpret design requirements and implement them effectively on the web. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team rather than work in isolation. Proficiency with version control tools such as Git. Reliable computer, microphone, and fast internet connection suitable for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Storybook and translating Figma designs into a reusable component library. Familiarity with Docker. Experience with libraries and tools such as shadcn/ui, SWR, MSW, or faker.js. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices. Personal coding projects that demonstrate problem-solving skills and an interest in development.
