FTTx Telecom Project Manager

About the Opportunity: The FTTX TELECOM PROJECT MANAGER is responsible for leading and managing telecommunications projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications by coordinating cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors. The position contributes to the organization by driving successful project execution and continuous improvement, enhancing the delivery of telecom infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities: Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecom projects aligning with organizational goals. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and senior management. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; manage resources effectively. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, sales, and customer service. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues; develop contingency plans. Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement of project management processes. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment with open communication. Serve as subject matter expert on telecom industry trends and mentor junior team members. Requirements: Strong communication and teamwork skills. Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience accepted. Minimum 6 years project management experience in telecommunications or related industries. Proven success managing complex telecom projects. In-depth knowledge of telecom technologies such as FTTx, Long-Haul, B2B, wireless communications, and data services. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Problem-solving and decision-making skills focused on innovative solutions. PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Experience with project management tools like Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
