Full-Service Commercial Lifestyle Photography Production
We're a U.S.-based mental healthcare company seeking an experienced commercial photography production partner to manage an end-to-end lifestyle photography shoot. We're building a proprietary image library featuring paid talent portraying therapy clients. Our goal is to capture natural, candid, documentary-inspired imagery that feels authentic, warm, and relatable rather than overly posed or traditionally corporate. This is a turnkey production project, not a standalone photographer booking. We're looking for one partner who can take ownership of the entire production, including casting, location sourcing, crew, photography, logistics, licensing, and post-production. Our internal Creative team will provide the creative brief, brand direction, feedback, and approvals, but will not be managing individual production vendors. Project Scope -
Shoot:
One-day commercial lifestyle photography production -
Talent:
Approximately 3–4 paid models portraying therapy clients -
Location:
One residential location with varied indoor and outdoor settings, ideally in Seattle or the San Francisco Bay Area but open to other cities. -
Photography:
Natural everyday lifestyle moments, individual/environmental portraits, and simulated virtual therapy sessions -
Deliverables:
Approximately 35–45 final edited images, including horizontal and vertical compositions -
Usage:
Website, paid advertising, social media, email, print, out-of-home, and other marketing channels nd-to-End Production Responsibilities The selected partner will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of production, including: - Pre-production planning, scheduling, and shoot logistics - Casting, hiring, and coordinating paid talent - Residential location scouting, booking, and commercial permissions - Hiring and managing the photographer, crew, and any necessary production support - Equipment, lighting, and on-site production management - Talent direction and execution of the approved creative brief - Model releases, photographer licensing, and location agreements - Image selection, editing, retouching, and final asset delivery - Managing the overall production budget and any subcontractors We welcome applications from independent photo producers, photographer-led production teams, and boutique production companies, provided they can deliver and manage the complete production under one contract. Budget $8,000–$12,000 USD all-in This budget must include all production expenses, including talent fees, commercial licensing, location, photography, crew, equipment, logistics, insurance, and post-production. We're intentionally seeking a lean production approach rather than a large commercial production agency. We're open to practical recommendations for maximizing the budget without compromising the creative quality, number of deliverables, or required usage rights. Commercial Usage & Licensing These images will form part of our long-term marketing library, so licensing is essential. We require: - Perpetual, worldwide commercial usage rights across all media, without expiration or renewal fees - Photographer and talent rights covering digital advertising, websites, social media, email, print, out-of-home, and future campaigns - Model releases explicitly permitting use in mental healthcare advertising, including imagery that may imply the talent is receiving therapy - Rights to crop, resize, adapt, and reuse images across campaigns and formats - Appropriate commercial location permissions Our Legal team will review the relevant agreements and releases before production. Ideal Production Partner - Experience managing commercial lifestyle photography productions end-to-end - Strong portfolio of authentic, candid, people-focused commercial imagery - Established ability to source and manage paid talent, locations, photographers, and crew - Familiarity with commercial usage rights, talent licensing, and model releases - Experience delivering high-quality productions with lean teams and controlled budgets - Ability to act as our single point of contact throughout the project To Apply please include: 1.
