# Full Stack Engineer ## About the Role Eliassen Group is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop and maintain modern websites and digital products. This remote role requires hands-on development across the frontend, backend, and CMS layers, with a focus on clean, maintainable code, reliability, performance, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and external development teams to deliver new features, troubleshoot production issues, improve existing systems, and adapt technology solutions as business requirements evolve. The position also includes participation in code reviews, technical documentation, planning, and production support. ## Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain full-stack web applications and digital products. Write clean, maintainable code focused on reliability, performance, and simplicity. Build and support frontend applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Develop backend applications and services using Node.js and TypeScript. Work with WordPress and PHP for CMS-based development. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and external development teams to deliver new features. Debug production issues and improve code quality, system reliability, and performance. Own technical deliverables while incorporating feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement. Participate in code reviews and planning sessions. Create and maintain engineering documentation. Enhance existing systems as business requirements change. Use approved AI-powered engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for development, testing, documentation, and refactoring. Provide after-hours and weekend production support when needed. ## Required Qualifications Full-stack development experience across frontend, backend, and CMS environments. Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, WordPress, and PHP. Experience debugging production issues and improving code quality and system reliability. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience participating in code reviews and technical planning. Ability to document engineering work and adapt existing systems to evolving requirements. Familiarity with AI-powered engineering tools and their use in software development workflows.
