Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Data Engineering) Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Experience: 7+ years in software development, including 3+ years in data engineering Required Qualifications 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in data engineering. 5+ years of Python experience, including production APIs, data processing, scripting, and automation. Expert-level SQL skills, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, data modeling, and performance tuning. 2+ years of hands-on dbt experience, including models, tests, macros, and documentation. 3+ years of production React development experience, including hooks, state management, and component design. Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and responsive CSS3. Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and ELT pipelines. Hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing. Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TypeScript and Next.js. Familiarity with Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect. Snowflake or Databricks certification. Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, D3, or Recharts. Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or LLM-enabled applications. Consulting or client-facing professional services experience.
