Full Stack Web Developer II - Remote
About the Role
CGS Business Solutions is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Web Developer with strong experience in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and preferably Next.js. This role will focus on building and enhancing modern, scalable web applications deployed on AWS and integrated with backend databases and external services. The developer will work across front-end and back-end technologies, design system integrations, and help ensure applications meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and maintainability. The role also involves collaboration with Product, UX, and QA teams, participation in code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and enhance modern web applications using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js, deployed on AWS and integrated with backend databases. Design, develop, and maintain web applications using open-source front-end and back-end technologies, frameworks, and APIs. Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and external applications and services. Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js. Ensure application performance, security, and maintainability meet enterprise standards. Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule. Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices. Mentor junior developers and support effective development practices. Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional web application development experience. Proven experience building scalable, modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js, preferably Next.js. Strong backend development experience with Node.js, including designing and implementing robust API services. Strong experience developing and integrating APIs using REST and SOAP protocols. Solid understanding and practical experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Experience with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
