About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Fund Controller to oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, and financial operations for a portfolio of venture capital investment funds. The position involves working closely with investment managers and General Partners (GPs), supporting the full financial lifecycle of investment funds within a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage fund accounting and financial operations across a portfolio of venture capital funds. Oversee partnership accounting and monthly financial close processes. Prepare and maintain accurate fund-level financial reporting. Coordinate financial communications and reporting for Limited Partners (LPs). Provide financial oversight and operational support to General Partners. Maintain reliable financial records and support the efficient management of fund operations. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency. Support multiple investment funds while maintaining high standards of financial accuracy. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 5–9 years of relevant experience within venture capital, private equity, or fund administration. Previous startup experience is required. Strong knowledge of partnership accounting and investment fund financial reporting. Ability to manage multiple priorities in an entrepreneurial environment. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Comfortable working closely with investment managers and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
