If you are passionate about quality, and enjoy working in collaborative Agile environments, we’d love to hear from you! 💼 About the Role As a skilled, detail-oriented Data Visualization Specialist, you may work remotely to bridge the gap between complex backend data and business strategy. Your primary mission may be to transform massive, complicated datasets into clean, intuitive, and interactive dashboards that empower executive leadership and cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree, be a US Citizen with an active Security Clearance and have a strong command of business intelligence (BI) platforms, a deep understanding of database structures, and a passion for data storytelling. This is a full-time remote position. ✅ What You’ll Do Evaluate QLIK as capabilities/reports for rationalization into Google Looker and then rebuild existing and new capabilities in Looker. Must have experience migrating apps from QLIK to Looker. This requires consumption of data from SAP Hana and Google Big Query for ingestion, visualization, and analytical purposes. Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and accessibility testing. Design, build, and maintain automated, interactive dashboards and visual reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with development teams and data engineers to troubleshoot, optimize underlying data structures and validate fixes. Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, model, and blend data from diverse pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud storage systems. Translate highly technical metrics into actionable, user-friendly insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Apply strict visual design principles to ensure dashboards are engaging, responsive, and easy to interpret. Must have agile delivery experience across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle. 🎯 What We’re Looking For Clearance - US Citizenship mandatory. Public Trust/Security Clearance with ability to obtain DLA CAC 3+ years of software testing experience, including Google Looker / Google Data Visualization. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Graphic Design, a related field (or equivalent practical experience). BI Platform Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience building enterprise-level dashboards using Data Visualization / Looker Studio. Must have knowledge of Google Looker design and development principles. Database & Query Languages: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and optimization. Programming Skills: Experience in advanced data manipulation or custom visuals. Design & UX Acumen: A strong portfolio to demonstrate clear understanding of data visualization best practices, wireframing, and interactive UI/UX layout. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex data insights clearly to executive teams. 🌟 Why Join DBS?
