Grant Writer Mission The mission of SAVE Institute is to SAVE Black Boys from cycles of poverty, crime, incarceration and lack of purpose through engagement in humanitarian service, agricultural training, vocational training and entrepreneurship development. Position Overview The Grants Writer works to strengthen and expand the work of SAVE Institute through securing and maintaining grant funding for the organization. The Grant Writer is involved in every aspect of the grant process including: identifying suitable grants, preparing and submitting proposals, communicating with the program managers best practices for grant-funded program implementation, and preparing final reports to be submitted to grant funder. Working Conditions The Grant Writer has the flexibility of performing most work from home. In-person meetings, trainings and events will be required periodically.
