About the Role
The Contract Graphic Designer will develop original concepts and produce polished visual designs for a variety of formats and applications. Working with a creative team and other stakeholders, you will turn ideas into finished artwork while maintaining brand consistency and meeting project requirements. This role is suited to a designer with strong conceptual skills, an eye for detail, and experience preparing artwork for production. The assignment is expected to last approximately one to three months and offers a remote work arrangement, with occasional visits to the client's office potentially required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop original creative concepts and visually engaging designs. Create mockups and adapt artwork for different formats and applications. Incorporate feedback and refine designs while maintaining brand consistency. Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork and final files. Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project goals, timelines, and creative standards. Explore creative directions and translate ideas into polished visual assets.
Required Qualifications
Three to four years of graphic design experience in a creative agency, brand, or similar environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong conceptual thinking, brand storytelling, illustration, and visual design skills. A portfolio demonstrating creative work; an online portfolio is preferred. Understanding of print production and production-ready file preparation. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Willingness to receive feedback and adapt to changing priorities. Personal computer equipment and Adobe Creative Suite software. Location and Work Arrangement Employment Type: Contract. Work Arrangement: Remote. Expected Duration: Approximately one to three months. Additional Requirement: Occasional visits to the client's office may be required. The designer must provide their own computer equipment and Adobe Creative Suite software.
