Guidewire Tech Lead

Job Title: Guidewire Tech Lead Location: San Antonio, TX - Onsite / Remote Work Mode: Remote allowed for excellent candidates Certification: Guidewire ACE Certification or Associate Certification in PolicyCenter preferred. Must-Have Skills 10+ years of overall IT experience. Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter. Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud. Strong knowledge of both Guidewire Configuration and Integration. Experience working with Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (APD). Guidewire ACE certification in any Guidewire product, preferably PolicyCenter. Experience triaging QA defects, identifying root causes, and supporting developers in resolving issues. Strong experience conducting code reviews and ensuring compliance with Guidewire coding standards. Job Responsibilities Participate in all phases of SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation. Work on P&C modernization initiatives, including Dwelling Policy Migration, Guidewire Renewals, and Umbrella Policy Modernization. Design scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and AWS cloud strategies. Lead code and design reviews and ensure seamless integration with APIs, Kafka, and Earnix. Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide end-to-end resolution. Identify and manage technical and operational risks. Mentor junior and mid-level developers and coordinate offshore teams. Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects and remove technical blockers.
