Head Buyer (Luxury Jewelry/Gaming) | Remote

Our client, a fast-growing gaming and sweepstakes-style platform, rewards players with premium physical prizes in the luxury jewelry category. They’re hiring their first procurement leader to build sourcing from scratch. This role reports to the COO/CEO. What you’ll do Own sourcing, supplier negotiations, purchasing and budgets across the prize catalog Build a reliable network of jewelry dealers, wholesalers and distributors, plus suppliers for fashion, electronics and collectibles Track collector demand and market trends, and advise Product and Marketing on which brands and pieces to carry Negotiate pricing, payment and delivery terms, benchmarking total landed cost against the market Set up authentication and quality checks covering condition, provenance, certification and warranty Decide what to hold in stock versus source on demand, and work with Operations on insured shipping and returns Report on lead times, savings, supplier performance and inventory age, and grow a team as the business scales What you bring 5+ years in procurement, luxury sourcing or jewelry trading, including owning a buying function or leading a team Expert knowledge of top-tier luxury brands such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Tiffany An established dealer network and a clear grasp of authorized, independent and grey-market pricing Comfort with purchasing data, budgets and international logistics Strong negotiator on high-value deals, with a professional style that builds long-term supplier trust Bonus Experience in gaming, sweepstakes, social casino or rewards and loyalty programs Luxury e-commerce or marketplace experience Supplier relationships in Europe, the US, the Middle East or Asia Hands-on use of luxury resale pricing tools and marketplaces Genuine interest in collector communities
