Healthcare AI Transformation Solution Architect
Job Title: Healthcare AI Transformation Solution Architect Full Time Remote Note: Need Healthcare AI Solution Architects, Healthcare Enterprise Architects, and Directors of AI / Digital Transformation who have worked directly with hospitals or health systems and have implemented AI solutions in a hospital operational environment
Required Qualifications
Experience Level: 12+ years in healthcare across at least two of the following domains: payer, provider, population health, life sciences. (Provider-side experience is weighted most heavily). Initiative / Program Ownership: Accountable owner of a multi-workstream effort, not just a contributor. Requires a consulting background or product/platform leadership that translates into consulting-style initiative leadership. Executive-Level Roadmap & Stakeholder Alignment: Experience creating multi-year roadmaps, business models, and board- or executive-ready materials supporting portfolio and funding decisions. Regulated Healthcare Delivery: Deep experience with HIPAA / HITRUST / PHI, with demonstrated delivery inside those constraints. Data Governance Exposure: Experience with data lakes, catalogs, stewardship, metadata, and operating models around them. Hands-on AI and LLM Fluency: Candidates must be able to hold a technical conversation on RAG architecture, conversational agents, training-corpus and curation strategy, and evaluation methodology against SME gold standards. (Survey-level familiarity will not pass the interview panel). Leadership & Scope: Cross-functional team leadership (10+ people) with delivery portfolio and budget accountability. Ambiguity Handling: Demonstrated capability in ambiguity — able to take an under-specified priority and return a structured plan unprompted.
Preferred Qualifications
Platform Modernization / 0-to-1 Builds: Building platforms from scratch or modernizing platforms in a healthcare setting. Client-Side Vendor Management: Running external delivery partners against a Statement of Work (SOW). Agile at Scale: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe or equivalent) across multiple release trains. Clinical Knowledge: Clinical credentials or deep clinical-workflow fluency. Not a Fit Delivery or Scrum PMs who require scope to be handed to them. Technical Architects (this role partners with architecture, but is accountable for governance and outcomes, not system design). Generalists: AI generalists without healthcare regulatory depth, OR healthcare generalists without genuine AI/LLM fluency (both are strictly required).
