Healthcare IT Analyst - Epic / EDI / Medicaid (W2 Contract - USA)
Varsa Solutions is hiring healthcare technology professionals for W2 contract roles with health systems, payers and state Medicaid programs. Roles are 6–12 months; they may be remote, hybrid or onsite, and location is confirmed with you before any submission. What you’ll do Analyze, configure or test Epic and other EHR modules, or healthcare claims and EDI transactions (837/835/270/271). Gather requirements and validate clinical or claims data for Medicaid, eligibility and interoperability projects. Work with HL7/FHIR interfaces, data teams and business users through implementation and support. Must have 4+ years in healthcare IT as a business/systems analyst, Epic analyst, EDI analyst or interface analyst. Hands-on with one or more: Epic (any module), healthcare claims/EDI, HL7/FHIR, Medicaid/MMIS. SQL and solid documentation skills. Good to have Epic certification (e.g. Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, Ambulatory, Clarity) or Cerner experience. Payer, PBM or state health-agency projects; HIPAA knowledge. Power BI/Tableau reporting.
Requirements
