Help Job Seekers Build Their Network Through Virtual Speed Networking

Merit America is a nonprofit that helps people from underrepresented backgrounds build careers in tech through training, coaching, and community. We're looking for volunteers to join our upcoming Level Up, Together: Career Week (October 19th to 22nd), where you'll connect directly with learners and alumni building careers in tech during interactive, virtual networking sessions. Creating Career Connections: Speed Networking — Thursday, October 22nd (12:00pm or 3:00pm ET) You'll rotate through a series of short, guided conversations with learners and alumni. Each round is about 8 minutes, and you'll share your career story, answer questions, and help participants practice professional introductions and networking skills. All sessions are virtual via Zoom and run about 60 minutes. You can sign up for one session or both. We're looking for professionals with a few years of experience in any field, especially those who've navigated job searching or networking. No special preparation is required; just bring your professional experience and a willingness to have real conversations in a supportive environment. Apply To This Job
