High School Intern
Company Description
High School Opportunity (HSO) is a nonprofit platform that helps high school students discover internships, scholarships, volunteer roles, academic programs, competitions, summer programs, and more in one centralized place. Designed specifically for high school students, HSO saves time by offering a growing, curated database instead of requiring users to search across multiple websites. The platform currently features over 1,700 opportunities and continues to expand through ongoing research and updates. With more than 6,000 visitors so far, HSO is helping students access opportunities they might not otherwise find. HSO is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, fiscally sponsored by Hack Club, and is committed to making opportunity discovery simpler and more accessible for students everywhere. Role Description This remote internship role at HighSchoolOpportunity involves supporting the research, organization, and presentation of opportunities for high school students. Interns may help identify and verify new internships, scholarships, programs, and events, then add them to the database with clear, accurate descriptions. Day-to-day responsibilities can include online research, data entry, light content editing, and communicating with team members to keep listings up to date. Interns may also assist with basic outreach, social media updates, or user feedback collection to improve the platform. This is an internship role designed to offer hands-on experience in a mission-driven, student-focused organization. You get to work your OWN hours and choose which part you want to specialize in (i.e. Social Media Intern, Marketing Intern, Research Intern, etc.) This is an UNPAID role
