About the Opportunity: The HOME LOAN PROCESSOR is responsible for managing mortgage transactions by coordinating stakeholders and ensuring accurate, efficient processing of complex loan files compliant with regulatory standards. This role contributes to maintaining loan quality and service levels, directly impacting the organization's ability to provide reliable mortgage services to its members. Responsibilities: Coordinate communication with members, home loan advisors, and vendors regarding loan processing. Order and follow up on title reports, flood certificates, and appraisals. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, identifying additional requirements. Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Review and calculate income and asset verification according to investor guidelines and policies. Interpret and update Desktop Underwriter findings prior to underwriting submission. Evaluate credit documentation for compliance with policies. Manage correspondence and document exchange, updating the Loan Origination System. Manage loan pipeline to meet service levels, efficiency, and quality standards. Complete Home Mortgage Disclosure Act information. Address quality control issues. Maintain knowledge of investor guidelines and equity products. Perform tasks in accordance with performance competency standards. Complete other assigned duties. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience may substitute. Minimum of 2 years mortgage lending experience; processing experience preferred.
